The museum is divided into small rooms that cover aspects of the towns varied history. The exhibitions are updated every year so there is always something new to see.
Find out about George Templer’s magnificent carved oak overmantle now on display in the museum for the first time in over 180 years! Together with the incredible story of the town’s 18th century inventor and diver, John Lethbridge, and the ‘Notable Newtonians’ many of whom have gone on to make a difference in the world.
